Hello practicers!
We've both just had COVID and are feeling pretty blegh. We're tired and grumpy and ready to hibernate. Can you relate?

When you get sick, things grind to a halt whether you like it or not. Sickness insists that you slow down. When things slow down, remember that creativity is a cycle, which includes periods of rest. If something is telling you its time to rest, then rest!
Isa Sleeping, 2019, by Dylan Cale Jones.
At the end of the year, there is plenty of pressure to step things up. People rush around trying to finish their paperwork, and buy presents, and pack for the trip. Do one more thing and then you'll be done!

But what if you've already done enough?

Imagine that you are done. Right now. You've done more than enough! It's abundantly great, all those things you accomplished! Wow! How does it feel to be done?

Rest and Reflect:

Reflect on what you've experienced this year.

What moments were joyful?

What moments were restful?

Where did you find community?

What situations were challenging?

What lessons did you learn this year?
We're going to take a nap. We'll be back in 2 weeks.

Until then, keep practicing!
