Hello Friends! Welcome back to Practice Practice.
We've just returned from 3 weeks of travel. We visited New York City, Chicago, and New Haven, Connecticut--where we taught summer camps at the Eli Whitney Museum (see our teacher faces below).
Our trip was great! We walked through Central Park, got sunburned at the beach, and had our auras photographed. We ate delicious food! We saw inspiring art! But our favorite part was reconnecting with far-flung friends.
Together, we reflected on our growth. We celebrated our achievements. We shared our secrets and insecurities. Friendship holds space for all aspects of our practices. Our friends embrace and accept the things we can't talk about in a "professional" context. These conversations bring us out of isolation and into deeper creative connection.

Check out her work and give her a follow!

Practice Friendship:
Make an effort to connect with your friends. If they are close to you, make a lunch date or set up a studio visit. If they live far away, send a post card or leave a supportive voicemail. Tell them you love them and miss them. Let them know they can talk to you.

We'll be back in 2 weeks.
Until then, keep practicing!
