Hello Friends! Welcome back to Practice Practice.

Although things are really hard right now, its important to acknowledge and celebrate the good things that are happening too. On that note, We have some great news to share with you: We are officially Artists in Residence at Studio School for the year 2025!

What does that mean? It means we will be creating and sharing our work in and around Studio School for the next year. Our residency at Studio School affords us time, space, and material support--which is already expanding our ideas and inspiring more ambitious projects. It also gives the students at Studio School an opportunity to watch and work alongside artists practicing at a professional level. Our day-to-day practices have already sparked so many interesting conversations with students, teachers, and staff. What a win-win! We're looking forward to growing together for the next year.

Here's what we're working on now:
Isa is making huge drawings of jaguars. They're also building large ceramic sculptures based on pre-columbian designs.
Dylan is creating drawings of crowds--lots of different people sharing space together. They're also making illustrated cups, bowls, and vases in the wheel studio.
In case you didn't know... Studio School is a community studio that offers classes in ceramics, weaving, sewing, dyeing, embroidery, drawing, painting, printmaking and more! Studio School is part of the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, located in Oklahoma City.
